You might mistake Shelter as an old factory warehouse from the outside. There is a wide open front and windows on the celling that makes the whole place seems even more spacious. The restaurant looks like a ski lodge for hunters in the middle of mountains, with communal tables, large sofa, armchairs and and moose horns. Although it happen to ironically located on a busy street of Willamsburg, surrounding by high population of vegans.
Love the rusty feel and wooden interiors of this place. Should be a good place to hang out with a group of friends at night too. Pizzas and empanadas seem to be the food choice to go but I can’t resist any the egg involved brunch menu.
